Haven’t tried this out yet, but Peakaboom is a game meant to help out researchers who are trying to figure out how people think (update: actually it’s how computers see), and all that. Nice concept, now is it fun? (update — not really. the words for the pictures do not seem to be a logical fit for me) What of the replay value and all? Regardless, it’s nice to see computer/video/console games becoming more accepted into many different facets of life.
(update — more on the game…it’s similar to the $10,000 Pyramid or something where you have to have the other person guess a word, but here you can’t really communicate with the other person aside from a hot or cold button.)
