did someone get suckered?

I don’t know, but this CNN article implies that Sony might have inflated price expectations so they can offer a lower priced PS3 next year.  If so, what does that mean for MS and the XBox360 two-tiered pricing model?  It will be interesting to see how all of this shakes out.
