food — steaks, carrot soup and then what?

We’re having some friends over for dinner tomorrow night, and I could use some menu help.  We’re already planning on making a ginger carrot soup, grilled steaks, and some sort of cobbler.  I can’t help but think another side dish would be good, but am not sure what it would be.  Any thoughts?

Diner Menu ala carte as i know it from where i used to work at a friends french restaurantstart with long bread with a garlek butter when guests sit down.offer a white wine.give them 30 min then get them soup prefer tomato soup or mushroom soupfor main the course you make small fried potato\’sblanched vegies wich you put in a new friend pan and add a bit of water so it wil get a touchy burned. and for the meat you can use either lam or rosbiefwich you can slice down in to small slices and just bake sliglty in a pan with hot butter , dont forget to add some oil so the buttor wont burn away.for desert you get some ice.get some banana\’s cut them in small peacesheat up a peach of chocolate in a pan with a little butterwhen the chocolate is hot you pour it over the ice and banana.and you can add cream to it with a straw berry on top now thats a classy frensh meal in a fancy restaurantTiming is the main key word here and its realy not that hard.Enjoy .herby
